Lessons Learned
Since we were working and schooling remotely, we decided sometime in late 2020 that maybe we'd like to take a month long trip during the spring to see if we could live and work on the road. This trip in large part was an experiment to see what that would look like.
We learned some important lessons on the trip.
While it was possible for the three of us to carve out working spaces, we definitely need a better floor plan. Margaret worked from the dining table, Emma worked from the couch, and John worked from the bedroom. This worked, but it wasn't ideal. We think a bunkhouse floorplan, where the lower bunk is converted to a desk area, along with a workspace based around the dining area would be much better.
