The last time we took a long trip to Indiana was back in 2015. That was our first long trip in our first motorhome. We decided early in the year to take the trip in our Class A motorhome, especially as family and friends were getting vaccinated, and Covid seemed to be waning.
Of course, the Delta variant has been infecting thousands, and was in full swing in August, but we decided to go anyway. One of the great things about RV travel is you really can be socially distant while you're travelling. After all, you're bringing everything with you.
We made some adjustments; we did take out and ate at the RV multiple times. We masked up when we were unsure of vaccination statuses.
I was glad to have some time to hike with my sister, and to get some good photography time at Turkey Run and Indiana Dunes. Prophetstown State Park was a lovely surprise. I enjoyed seeing the restored prairie that originally covered that part of Indiana.
