We sent Emma ahead via plane, so she could be in the rehearsals for her friend Angela's Quincienera. We followed by slow rig from Austin, stopping at Saguaro and Joshua Tree National Parks on the way.
The celebration was lovely, and the trip back featured a massive sinus infection for John, which was a lot of fun.
