Still one of my favorite trips. We picked Emma up from Camp, and headed north to Montana, stopping in a Cabella's parking lot just outside Denver, and a camp ground in Thermopolis, WY, before heading into Yellowstone to camp at Fishing Bridge RV park. We spent several days in the park, visiting the various basins, before heading to Grand Teton for a couple of nights. That was a real travesty. Grand Teton deserves more than just a full day. So obviously, we need to go back.
From the Tetons, we headed down to Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods RV Resort, to tee up a full day with our friends Meghan and Ty, and their girls, Dot and Dash. That was such a special day.
And then it was a sprint back to Austin, because "two week vacation." Nevertheless, I'm grateful for the experience.
